All is now set for the commissioning of the 10.2 kilometres newly constructed dualised Gloryland Phase II in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, who is the guest of the Governor, Senator Douye Diri, will commission the project on Thursday, 21st September, 2023 by 11am.
The road spans from Igbogene roundabout by Ecumenical centre to Tombia/Amassoma Road.
The State Government in a statesman said the road will be closed to traffic between 6am and 4pm to allow for the commissioning ceremony.
The commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Surv. Moses Teibowei, said the project remained one of the flagships of the Prosperity Administration and so, has invited Bayelsans and the general public to be part of the commissioning.
