The Commissioner, Kano State Ministry of Mineral Resources, Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu Kachako, has felicitated the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Muslim Ummah across the state on the occasion of Takutaha; the commemoration of the seventh day of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a goodwill message, the Commissioner described Takutaha as an important occasion for Muslims to reflect on the life, teachings and exemplary character of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, justice, unity and peaceful coexistence.
Alhaji Kachako urged Muslims to use the occasion to intensify prayers for peace, security and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria, while promoting love, tolerance, unity and mutual understanding among the people.
He also prayed to Allah to continue to guide and bless Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf with wisdom and strength in his efforts to provide good governance and improve the lives of the people of Kano State.
The Commissioner wished the Governor, the government and people of Kano State a peaceful and blessed Takutaha celebration.
