The Jumuโah prayer and sermon were led by Alhaji Imam Yunus Ajao Odekunle, who delivered the Friday sermon before leading the congregation in prayer.
Speaking after the prayer, Alhaja Lateefat pledged her continued support for the Muslim Ummah, promising to contribute her quota towards initiatives that promote unity, welfare, education, peaceful coexistence and the overall development of society.
She also emphasised the importance of extending compassion and support beyond religious boundaries, stressing that the welfare and progress of society should remain a collective responsibility.
The leadership of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria in Abeokuta warmly welcomed Alhaja Lateefat and expressed appreciation for her visit and continued engagement with the Muslim community.
The leaders subsequently offered prayers for her, asking Allah to guide her, grant her wisdom and strength, and bless her future endeavours. They also prayed for peace, unity and prosperity in Ogun State.
