Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), the senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election, has facilitated and handed over a fully furnished ultramodern Area Command Police Station in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area.

Located in the well-known Celestial City area near the international border, the new facility is designed to boost policing capacity, improve public safety and raise the welfare of officers serving the community.

The project includes two fully completed three-bedroom bungalows for senior police officers, a 30KVA generator and a 15KVA solar inverter system to guarantee steady electricity. The station is also fitted with air-conditioning, reliable water supply, modern furnishings and landscaping to create a functional and pleasant working environment.

Senator Adeola described the intervention as part of his continued effort to strengthen security infrastructure and support the Nigeria Police Force in protecting lives and property across Ogun West.

The on-site residential accommodation is expected to improve officers’ welfare, readiness and coordination of security operations in Imeko-Afon and neighbouring communities.

The new Area Command Police Station adds to the senator’s growing list of infrastructure projects in the senatorial district and aligns with the broader security and development priorities of the Ogun State Government under Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun.
