Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has led leaders and members of her NSO Political Family to present 12,000 yards of branded Ankara fabric to the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Olamilekan Adeola- Yayi, as a demonstration of their support for his 2027 ambition.
Salako-Oyedele disclosed this following the group’s visit to Adeola on Thursday, during which members expressed confidence in his candidacy and pledged their support for his bid to succeed Governor Dapo Abiodun in 2027.
The deputy governor said the group was encouraged by Adeola’s record of service and commitment to the people, expressing optimism that he would build on the achievements of the incumbent administration and take the state to greater heights.
She noted that the NSO Political Family believed in Adeola’s capacity to provide effective leadership and advance Ogun State’s development.
According to her, the visit and presentation of the branded Ankara fabric reflected the group’s collective commitment to his candidature ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Responding, Adeola expressed appreciation for the donation and the confidence reposed in him by the deputy governor and members of her political family.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to building an inclusive and united APC, where every member would have a role to play and every contribution would be recognised.
The APC candidate stressed that unity within the party was crucial not only to securing electoral victory in 2027 but also to ensuring effective governance and improved service delivery to the people of Ogun State.
Salako-Oyedele welcomed Adeola’s emphasis on inclusiveness and party unity, describing the principles as essential to the APC’s collective efforts towards the 2027 elections and beyond.
She expressed optimism that sustained cooperation among party leaders and members would strengthen the party and contribute to the state’s continued development.
The deputy governor prayed for success in the collective efforts to secure a brighter future for Ogun State.
