The Commandant, Nigeria Police Academy, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ahmad Abdurrahman, has on behalf of the Management and Senate of the Academy formally declared the 9th Regular Intake Automated Screening Exercise closed.
In a statement, the Commandant formally expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the Academy Community to the representatives from The Ministry of Police Affairs, The Federal Character Commission, The Police Service Commission and from the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
He noted that they had displayed high sense of patriotism, due diligence and selflessness in the course of carrying out their respective official responsibility in the just concluded national assignment of 9th Regular admission screening process into the Academy.
The Commandant also thanked the Chairman, Selection Examination Committee, Dr Yusuf Muhammad, Deans and Directors of the Academy as well as the entire Staff of the Academy for their professionalism, expertise and steadfastness in making the whole exercise seamless and successful.
He therefore tasked all Staff of the Academy to keep the spirit of discipline and professionalism high in a collective effort to consolidate on the existing professional and academic excellence the Academy is reckoned with.
In his observations and comments at the closing event, The Dean Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, Nigeria Police Academy, Prof. Umar Shehu Usman extolled the uncommon innovative leadership style of the Commandant toward the successful realization of the Automated Examination and Screening Exercise.
He noted that, he strongly identified with and relished the leadership qualities of the Commandant. Thus, he prayed and aspired for higher leadership opportunities for the Commandant, AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman, psc (+), mni.
