The Director General, National Intelligence Agency ( NIA), Ambassador Ahmed Rufa’i Abubakar, (CFR) on Tuesday, December 27
hosted the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria( NAHCON) Chairman/CEO Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan at a polo match event.
The event which took place at Rubicon Polo & Resort, Idu, Abuja, is part of the activities lined up for the installation and turbanning of Ambassador Ahmed Rufa’i Abubakar as the new Sardauna of Katsina, by the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.
The turbanning will take place on 31st December at the Emir’s Palace.
The title of Sardauna means the Prime Minister, leader of Princes and Commander of the Emirate’s Armed Forces.
Also as part of the installation and turbanning,
an inaugural conference with the theme, Tradition and Modernity; Trends and Issues on the History of Katsina, will take place at the Conference Hall of Katsina Motel from 29th to 30th of December.
