
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on Tuesday trained Directors of Operation and ICT Personnel of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards on Nusuk Masar.
The training took place at the NAHCON’s Conference Hall, Abuja.
NAHCON Chairman/CEO, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman had on Thursday, October 17, 2024, inaugurated the Nusuk-Masar (e-TRACK) Committee, as part of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah requirements for 2025 Hajj Operation
Speaking at the inauguration and strategic meeting with the leadership of the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) at Hajj House Abuja, Chairman/CEO of the Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman said the E-track will easily facilitate Pilgrims’ Hajj procedures and processings.
Prof Saleh reiterated the importance of the Committee’s assignment as the backbone of the 2025 Hajj Operation.
The NAHCON boss, therefore, urged the Committee to work diligently under the following terms of reference:
1) Activation and general management of the 2025 Hajj Nusuk-Masar portal for intending Nigerian Pilgrims.
2) Training of users at NAHCON, States Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Agencies/Boards/Commissions and Licensed Tour Operators nationwide.
3) Also among others, to enlighten and liaison with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in the general tasks of the Nusuk-Masar as required by the Saudi Arabian Authorities.
