The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has called on pilgrims who took part in the 2026 Hajj or Umrah exercises to forward any complaints or comments about services they received, as part of its ongoing review of the operations.
In a statement signed by its management, the Commission said the review is being conducted in line with its statutory mandate to regulate, supervise and oversee organisations and bodies involved in organising and coordinating pilgrim movements for Hajj and Umrah.
Pilgrims are invited to report issues relating to services rendered by any individual or institution during the exercise.
The Commission said the petitions will help identify areas for improvement in future operations and will guide decisions on the renewal of licences for service providers. These include tour operators, State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, airlines, cargo companies, caterers and accommodation providers.
NAHCON also welcomed suggestions and ideas from stakeholders and members of the public on ways to enhance Hajj and Umrah operations in Nigeria.
