Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman on Thursday held a meeting with the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
The meeting was in continuation of the 2025 Hajj preparations.
On hand to receive the NAHCON Chairman was Engineer Mazeen Ahmad Bazuhair of GACA.

Discussions were held between the two parties on slot allocation to Nigerian air carriers for airlift of Nigeria’s pilgrims with
Professor Usman briefing GACA on the arrangements so far made by the Commission.
NAHCON recently announced four airlines as Nigerian
carriers for the Hajj 2025.
Hajia Fatima Sanda Usara, Assistant Director, Information and Publication, NAHCON, in a press statement on 12 January, 2025 gave their names as Air Peace Limited, Fly-Nas, Max Air, and UMZA Aviation Services Limited (in alphabetical order).
Also on Thursday, the Hajj and Umrah Tour Operators Association (HUTOUN) paid a courtesy visit to the NAHCON Chairman.
Secretary of the Association Bemekun Rasheed assured the Chairman of the Association’s support.
Mr. Rasheed informed him that members of his Association are pleased with the Commission’s newly chosen service provider, the Mashariq Al-Dhahabia Company.
The HUTOUN delegation has since met with the Mashariq Service providers to discuss modalities and package available to them as Private Tour Operators.
