NAHCON Chairman mourns, condoles family of late Ambassador Imam

Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan has sent a condolence message to the family of Ambassador Abdulkadir Sambo Imam, over the death of their patriarch.

The former Ambassador of Nigeria to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who died in Ilorin, Kwara State capital on Thursday, 1st September,2022 at the age of 90, was a one-time director of Directorate of Pilgrims Affairs (DPA), the precursor of NAHCON.

In a message of condolence, the Chairman/CEO  described the late envoy as a gentleman whose contribution to Hajj administration will remain indelible and etched in the memory forever.

Alhaji Hassan said  the late envoy,while in service, always put the interest of the nation above any other personal considerations.

He therefore prayed the Almighty Allah to grant eternal peace to the soul of the deceased.

A  delegation  led by NAHCON’s Assistant Director, Information and Publications, Mousa Ubandawaki, Assistant Director, Office of the Chairman, Abdulkadir Oloyin and Ibrahim Fijabi of Ilorin Zonal Office was in Ilorin to deliver the  chairman’s condolence message to the late Ambassador’s family.
