Family members and other guests recently thronged the venues of the final rites of passage for Mama Deaconess Felicia Ebuntola Owolu, who rested in the hands of family and her pastor on the 3rd Sept 2024, after a 94 years of existent(19th September 1930- 3rd September 2024).
Described as a mother to many, who treated all Inlaws are sons and daughters, her service to God and humanity were. exemplinary.
Mama Deaconess Felicia Ebuntola Owolu was a well known care giver at her place of worship – CAC Olorunsogo, Muslim,Lagos.
She was a member of Ina Oloruntan of the church and a matron of Olugokansin group, also of the church.
Mama was not just a believer but a practicing Christian in act of fasting and prayer. “She cared for all her children, biological and others,” one of them, Dr Amos Dele Babade, told The Shield Online.
“Notable things you can say about Mama was her hard working nature:A tailor and trainer, she owned and run her grinding mills very early in the day and she calculate her income and separate her tithe from the lot. May God give her rest in her bossom and keep all her children in peace. Adieu maama mi,” he added.
The Christian Wake was held for Mama Deaconess Felicia Ebuntola Owolu on 2nd October 2024 in her church while the thanksgiving service took place the following day at the same venue, after the burial at her residence, 14, Olorunsogo Street, Mushin, Lagos.
