Malaria: Kano Hisbah collabioarates with the Ministry of Health


Kano State Hisbah Board has again reaffirmed its resolve to work hand in hand and to collaborate towards effective mosquitoes net distribution, with the state campaign team for the year 2022.

The Commander General of the agency, Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina renewed the plea in his speech made while receiving a special team of delegate from the state ministry of Health who paid an official visit to Hisbah main headquarters in sharada quarters.


Dr. Harun Ibn Sina who warmly and proudly received the state delegation, added that the visit came at the right time, with the current situations of high alarming rate and presence mosquitoes in our domains. This move would no doubt motivate the entire people in the state towards acting positively.

He maintained that eradicating mosquitoes’ menace, is a collective effort, as mosquitoes are the causative agents of high fever, and other related illnesses in our society.


The Commander General who was ably represented by the Board’s Director General, Alhaji Abdullahi Balarabe used the visit and briefed the delegation about the board’s mandates, mission and vision in addition to other related assigned duties.

He however pledged to participate fully and play positive roles in the forthcoming mosquito nets distribution throughout the period designed to be held in the nooks and crannies of communities across the state.

Dr. Harun Ibn Sina also congratulated the delegation for achieving optimum result during the last concluded exercise in the year 2019.

Earlier addressed the head of state team on mosquitoes nets distribution campaign also the Director public health, ministry of health, Dr. Ashiru Rajab revealed that, they were at the board’s main office to further strengthen cordial relationship that exists between the agencies of government and solicited support and cooperation of the board towards successful conduct and hitch free exercuse.
