The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, alongside other key stakeholders in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, visited the NCDMB exhibition stand at the ongoing Nigerian International Energy Summit (NIES) 2026 in Abuja.
The high-level delegation was received by the General Manager, Corporate Communications, NCDMB, Dr. Obinna Ezeobi.
During the visit, Dr. Ezeobi highlighted the growth of Nigerian Content to 61% and outlined NCDMB’s role in enabling new oil and gas projects.
He also spoke on the impact of the Nigerian Content Intervention Fund and the Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Programme, which is designed to train 10,000 young Nigerians in preparation for opportunities arising from upcoming mega projects.
