A former governorship aspirant under the platform of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as presidential candidate of the party ahead of 2027 poll.
Obasanjo in a congratulatory letter issued by her said the victory of Tinubu at the party presidential primary elections was well-deserved, adding that she equally admires the dedication, vision, and tireless energy Tinubu demonstrated in leading the party and the country.
‘’Senator (Professor) Iyabo Obasanjo congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on well-deserved victory at the Presidential Primary of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC), accept my warmest congratulations’’, the letter read.
The former commissioner of health in Ogun State added that the triumph was a clear testament to the trust and confidence the party and members have in his leadership

Obasabjo, Professor of Public Health and an Epidemiologist, pointed out that the victory signals the beginning of a new positive chapter in nation building, stressing that she eagerly anticipate the advancements and improvements Tinubu will bring forth in his second term in office.
