Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved the appointment of one Commissioner, three Special Advisers, 90 Senior Special Assistants and 910 Special Assistants.
Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government was nominated as Commissioner for Special Duties and her name forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The three Special Advisers are:
1. Hon. Abimbola Fajolu (Ileoluji-Okeigbo LG), Special Adviser, Environment
2. Chief Ade Adeniyi (Ondo West LG), Special Adviser, Rural and Community Development
3. Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi (Akoko North-East LG), Special Adviser, Transport
The 90 Senior Special Assistants include the following:

2. Bidemi Obayangbon, SSA Forestry

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo said in a press statement on Thursday,
August 20, 2026 that the full list of the Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) will be released later.
The appointments take immediate effect.
