The Forum for Oke-Ogun Progress (FFOP) has described the death of Oba (Dr) Abdulganiy Adekunle Salaudeen Ologunebi (Ajinese 1), the Aseyin of Iseyin Land as a disheartenining and shocking one .
The President of the FFOP, Mr. Saheed Adekunle Imran (FCA, FIMC) in a statement described the late traditional ruler as a progressive leader per excellence, peace-lover and an ardent supporter of its Youth Development Programmes.
“Just some months ago, specifically 3rd of January, 2022 FFOP organized a Programme tagged ‘FFOP Education Summit’ during which Secondary schools with the best WAEC results in all the ten (10) local government areas in Oke-Ogun Area of Oyo State were honoured, some higher institutions students from Oke-Ogun who passed FFOP aptitude test were also accorded scholarships while the Communiqué arising from the Summit made available to relevant Government Agencies for Action.
” It is therefore interesting to note that this eventful and live-touching FFOP programme was held at the Palace Hall of Oba (Dr) Abdulganiy Ologunebi as his great support for the community -based and highly impactful programme.
“We, at FFOP therefore, express our heartfelt condolences to the family of His Royal Majesty, Aseyin-In-Council, Iseyin Development Union (IDU) and the entire indigenes of Iseyin Land.
“We will continue to remember you forever. We pray that Almighty Allah will grant you eternal abode. Ameen,” he said.
