FCT Pilgrims Welfare Board ends orientation programme for 2022 intending pilgrims

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has concluded the education and orientation exercise for 2022 intending pilgrims.

The exercise which was conducted in phases enabled the intending pilgrims  get knowledge of hajj rites as well other relevant available guidelines stipulated by the relevant authorities for the successful conduct of the religious exercise. The final exercise witnessed the practical aspect where schoolers led the intending pilgrims on mock hajj exercise using facilities provided for that purpose at the permanent hajj transit camp, near the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja.

In his message to the closing session, the Director of the Board, Mallam Muhammad Nasiru Danmallam Advised the intending pilgrims to take advantage of the knowledge acquired to ensure that attain acceptable hajj. Mallam Danmallam stressed the importance of participating in all activities by the Board in preparation for the religious journey.

The Director reassured the commitment of the Board in making sure the intending pilgrims get value for their money.

Renowned Islamic Scholars trained the intending pilgrims in 7 different languages on stages of hajj.
