DSS investigates alleged misconduct by its personnel at Lagos Airport

The Department of State Services (DSS) said it has commenced investigations into an alleged misconduct by its personnel at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos. 

Public Relations Officer of the DSS, Dr Peter Afunanya said this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said the investigation followed allegation of unprofessional conduct brought against its personnel by Pelumi Olajengbesi at MMIA. Afunanya said Olajengbesi and indeed, any member of the public with an evidence in the allegation had been invited to forward such evidence to the service  for appropriate actions.

The statement made  to The Shield Online  by the DSS reads: “The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to the allegation by one Pelumi Olajengbesi that the Service’s personnel at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, engage in unprofessional conduct of sorts.

“Consequently, the Service has launched a full investigation into the matter. It further invites Olajengbesi and indeed any member of the public with an evidence in this regard to come forward to the Service with such for appropriate action(s)”
