Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has called for Mr Peter Obi’s disqualification from the presidential race.
Bashir made the call via his Twitter handle on Saturday afternoon.
Below are his words…
“In line with EA2022, the INEC should disqualify the LP presidential candidate from contesting the 2023 election. The candidate isn’t on the party’s membership list submitted to the electoral body. The list was submitted on April 25, while the candidate joined the party on May 26.”
Peter Obi is the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, he joined LP after dumping the People’s Democratic Party moments before the party’s presidential primary election, the former Anambra State Governor served as the running mate to the current Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in 2019.
