Prominent politician from Bauchi State and member of Elders Rlations of APC Presidential Council, Alh.Sanusi Baban Takko has congratulated President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima on their election victory.
Takko who is the Barayan Bauchi in a statement said the election victory is a manifestation of collective yearnings and aspirations of the Nigerian people, adding that ” the voice of the people is presumed to be the voice of God.”
He stated that “The Nigerian people have spoken loud and clear,through their respective votes and I appeal to other contestants to exhibit the spirit of true sportmanship by congratulating the winners without delay as that is the only way we can build,deepen and sustained our democratic culture in our march towards true nationhood.”
He stressed that “As true democrats, we should always have it in mind that there must always be winners and losers in any contest “
He counselled that “As Politicians we should always be in the vanguard of providing good governance, rule of law, socio-economic prosperity for the common good of all Nigerians.”
