The All Progressives Congress United States Chapter (APC-USA) has extended congratulations to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory and emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate in the recently concluded governorship primary in Ondo State.
In a joint statement signed by Professor Adesegun Labinjo, the National Chairman, and Dr. Ismaila Maigyara, the National Publicity Secretary, the APC-USA Chapter expressed immense joy at “the culmination of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s unwavering commitment, loyalty, and sacrifices for the party,” adding that “His steadfast dedication since the formation of the APC, and even during the era of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), has now been richly rewarded.”
The group further said that
“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership acumen and capacity to govern effectively have not gone unnoticed. The APC-USA expresses confidence that he will steer Ondo State toward rapid development, lifting its indigenes out of poverty and ensuring security for all.
“The USA Chapter of the APC acknowledges Mr. Aiyedatiwa’s significant contributions to Governor Akeredolu’s campaign back in 2012 under the ACN platform. His continued involvement in progressive politics, particularly in Ondo State, underscores his unwavering commitment to the party’s ideals.
“Furthermore, the APC-USA believes that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s exceptional ability to unite people will play a pivotal role in consolidating the party’s strength in Ondo State. The Chapter calls on all aspirants who may be disappointed with the primary election outcome to rally behind Governor Aiyedatiwa unconditionally, ensuring a resounding victory for the APC in the upcoming November governorship election.
“The APC-USA extends its congratulations to the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Chairman Alhaji Ganduje for organizing a free, fair, transparent, and credible primary election in Ondo State. Unity within the Ondo APC and across the nation is crucial, and the APC-USA pledges tireless efforts to secure victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa and the APC in the November polls. The Chapter will actively monitor the election process, holding accountable any individuals or groups engaged in malpractices, just as it has done in the past.”
