Alhaji Ahmed Idris the former Accountant General of the Federation has been turbaned as Ajiyan Hausa by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk in Daura, Katsina State on 21st October 2023.
Speaking after the ceremony, Alhaji Ahmed Idris (Ajiyan Hausa) expressed his gratitude to Allah and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk for his conferment with the prestigious title.
“We will always remain grateful to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura for this demonstration of love and good gesture not just to me and my family, but to the entire people of Kano State. This will strengthen the friendship and brotherhood between the people of Kano and Daura”, he said.
Speaking earlier at the turbaning ceremony, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk expressed his appreciation to the Ajiyan Hausa for his dedication and commitment to public service.
