Ummah Movement mourns Buhari

Ummah Movement, Zaria, has mourned the death of President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as “A Symbol of Integrity”.

In a statement signed by Prof. Muhammad  Babangida 
National Amir, the group said:
“It is with a profound sorrow and total submission to the Will of Allah that the Ummah
Movement, with headquarters at the National Islamic Centre (NIC), Dogarawa, Zaria, mourns
the passing away of a gallant and courageous soldier, an elder statesman, a foremost
Nigerian leader, a most sincere, honest and humble shepherd leader who was a symbol of
integrity, former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, who died on Sunday 13th July,2025, at a London Hospital and has since been buried according to Muslim rites.

”  Indeed, he lived an
exemplary life worthy of emulation, particularly his sterling moral qualities and principled
stand against corruption.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late leader, especially his wife,
children and nephew Malam Mamman Daura; his close friends and associates, the Emir and people of Daura Emirate; the Governor and people of Katsina State; the Sultan of Sokoto, the
Muslim Community  and the nation at large. 

“We pray to Allah, the Lord of Mercy, to forgive his human failures, reward his good works, 
and admit him to Jannatul fildaus, the highest state in Paradise.”
