A flurry of congratulatory letters and emotionally-penned felicitations from eminent personalities from all walks of life have been pouring in to celebrate media professional and promoter of the popular public discourse platform, Boiling Point Arena, Ayo Arowojolu, as he clocked 59 on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Among those who conveyed goodwill messages to the media professional are Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Matemilola, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, Secretary-General, Association of African Universities, Prof Olusola Oyewole, Retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi and the General Overseer, Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.
In her congratulatory message, Senator Obasanjo described Arowojolu as a committed media professional whose passion for principled discourse and national development has found enduring expression through the Boiling Point Arena platform.
She praised his consistency in creating “a credible platform for robust engagement on critical national issues,” adding that his commitment to informed dialogue remained a significant contribution to Nigeria’s democratic evolution.
The Professor of Epidemiology recalled their “brief but memorable engagement” during her gubernatorial media activities, noting that Arowojolu had consistently demonstrated discipline, clarity of purpose and dedication to nation-building through media engagement.
Also extolling the celebrant’s virtues, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Matemilola, described Arowojolu as a man gifted with the grace to gather people, listen attentively and guide meaningful conversations through the Boiling Point Arena initiative.

According to the monarch, Arowojolu has proven that leadership transcends titles and is fundamentally about impact, stressing that his influence continues to resonate beyond the media space.
In a separate tribute, Commodore Olawunmi, an Associate professor of Global Counter Terrorism, speaking on behalf of Galilee College, described the celebrant as “a man of courage, substance and vision” who has used Boiling Point Arena to enrich national discourse and deepen democratic engagement.
He noted that the platform had become a respected civic space interrogating governance, challenging complacency and advancing meaningful conversations on national development.
On his part, Prof. Oyewole commended Arowojolu’s contributions to journalism, public discourse, academia and ministry, describing him as a principled voice committed to truth and societal transformation.
