Fundraising has been launched for Professor Adigun Agbaje, who was kidnapped on Friday along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Two students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta were kidnapped alongside Agbaje, a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), of University of Ibadan.
Abductors are demanding N50 million naira as ransom for the release of the Professor and N10 million each for the students.
A WhatsApp message to raise funds for the release of Prof Agbaje says : “Please the fund raising to support the effort to procure the release of Prof Agbaje has commenced. All contributions should be paid to First Bank account no 2004429197. Prof. E. Remi Aiyede Ag HoD Political Science UI. Thank you.”
