Ogun State has qualified for the second phase of the Nigeria for Women Project (NFWP) as it had reportedly shown commitment and capacity as a proactive partner in terms of Women Empowerment and poverty alleviation.
Mr. Ilesanmi who is the Task Team Leader of NFWP (A world Bank sponsored initiative) made this known in his meeting with Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, the Chief Economic Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun.
He praised the efforts of the State and considered it an exemplary model for the rest of the Federation.
