The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF), Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has convened a joint meeting of Northern Governors and Traditional Rulers to address the ongoing blackout in the Northern region and other critical challenges affecting the zone, including security concerns, economic issues, and sustainable development priorities.

The meeting which is currently ongoing in Kaduna is aimed at discussing issues around insecurity, economy and sustainable development priorities.

The NSGF, led by Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya, is focused on charting a unified agenda to enhance regional cooperation and development, leveraging the North’s resources to promote long-term growth.

Yahaya is expected to discuss with stakeholders to implement actionable strategies to address security concerns disrupting agricultural productivity in the region.
