The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on Friday night, January 9th, 2026, held a Pre-Hajj Coordination Meeting with joint members and leadership of
Hajj and Umrah Tour Operator’s Union of Nigeria (HUTUON) and Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON).
The meeting which took place at the Makkah, Saudi Arabia office of NAHCON was presided over by the Chairman/CEO of the Commission, Prof Abdullahi Saleh Usman.
Representatives of lead companies and 2026 Hajj Licensed Tour Operators were also in attendance at the meeting.
NAHCON had on Thursday night held a similar meeting with heads of State Pilgrims Boards.
The meetings were convened to discuss and finalize arrangements for the 2026 Hajj.
