The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf, has extended the Commission’s heartfelt condolences to immediate past Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Saleh Usman.
Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf, who is currently on official engagement delegated a three-man NAHCON Board contingent to condole professor Sale.
The delegation comprised the following NAHCON Board members -Prof Musa Bin Fodio, Ambassador Ahmed Sule and Ambassdor Rabiu Lawal.
The NAHCON Chairman described the loss as deeply painful and prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, his family and loved ones at this difficult moment.
He said the Commission shares in the grief of the former Chairman and stands in solidarity with him in prayer, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, widen and illuminate her grave, and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus.
Ambassador Abba further prayed that Allah grants Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, members of his family and all those affected by the loss the fortitude, patience and strength to bear the irreparable loss.
NAHCON prays that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, repose the soul of the deceased, reward her for her good deeds, and make her final abode Jannatul Firdaus. May He also grant her family comfort, peace and the grace to remain steadfast in faith.
