Lagos bans the use of speakers and mega phones in motor parks

The Lagos State Government yesterday banned the use of speakers and mega phones in all Lagos motor parks/ garages.

This was announced by the Special Adviser on Transportation, Hon. Oluwatoyin Moses Fayinka, during a press briefing organised by  the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), to curb the menace of noise pollution in all Motor Parks across the state.

The event which took place at the agency’s conference room, also had in attendance the Permanent Secretary, Min. Of The Environment and Water Resources(OES), Prof. Dele Owolawi (Consultant Audiologist) Dr Tolu Ajomale (Coordinator, Special Project and Mental Health Desk officer- Lagos State  Min. Of Health, Chief Michael Ajilo, (Chairman Biode Motor Park, Ojota) others are Mrs Temitope Okunnu (Fabe International Foundation) and Pastor Barnabas (Noiseless Lagos Ambassador).
