The Secretary to the Kaduna State Government (SSG), Dr. Abdulkadir Mu’azu Mayere, has inaugurated the Governing Boards of four key agencies of the Kaduna State Government.
The inaugurated boards are:
* Kaduna State Quality Assurance Authority. Chaired by Tanko Kokwain Bagi
* Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC). Chaired by El-Sa’ad Yakubu Lere
*Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board. Chaired by Lawal Usman
* Kaduna State Livestock Regulatory Authority. Chaired by David Umar Gurara
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Mayere described the appointments as a demonstration of the confidence reposed in the appointees by Governor Uba Sani and a call to service in the interest of the people.
The SSG urged the newly inaugurated board members to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, dedication, competence and commitment, stressing that their mandates are central to the transformative development agenda of the Uba Sani administration.
He further charged them to uphold the highest standards of accountability, avoid conflicts between personal interests and institutional responsibilities, and maintain the confidentiality required in the conduct of board affairs.
Dr. Mayere reaffirmed the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to providing the necessary support to enable the boards to effectively discharge their mandates and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.
