Institute of Leadership Coaching and Strategy Holds Maiden Induction, Inaugurates Governing Council

The Institute of Leadership Coaching and Strategy (ILCS) on Sunday,  15th September, 2024 held its maiden induction.

The Governing Council of the Institute was also inaugurated same day.

Those inducted are the founders of the Institute who constitutes its First Governing Council and Pioneer Board Members.

They are Dr Olasunkade Azeez, President of the Institute and Chairman of the Governing Council; Dr Adedayo Odukoya, Vice-Chairman; Alhaji Mikail Adegoke Mumuni,  Member, Governing Council; Barrister Ifeoma Adeniyi,  Member,  Governing Council; Dr Oluwatoyin Senbore,  Member, Governing Council; Dr Adetokunbo Adebimpe Fayokun,  Member, Governing Council and Hajia Salamatu Yusuf,  Member,  Governing Council.

They were all inducted as Fellows of the Institute at a well attended programme conducted via Google Meet.

Speaking after the induction,  the President,  Dr Azeez said ILCS stands out as a foremost institute of leadership coaching and strategy due to its global vision, comprehensive mission that prioritizes sustainable development, and core values, including a commitment to professionalism, ethical practices, discipline, consistency, transparency, and service.

Dr Azeez while commending members of the Governing Council for their zeal enjoined them to “resolve to establish a legacy for a better society by embracing the institute’s core values to fulfil our mandates through our expertise to deliver unparalleled values for the common good.”

He was also full of appreciation for other people who played key roles in the affairs of the Institute.

“We appreciate all leaders across public and private sectors who align and support our noble cause to serve our nation through this platform.  Our appreciation goes to the Deputy Governor of Ogun State Her Excellency Engr. Noimot Oyedele-Salako FNSE, Senator (High Chief) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, MD of BUA Foods, Dr (Engr) Ayodele Abioye, Dr. Janet Jolaoso, Chairman Board of IFTDO Africa Confederation, Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Establishment Training and Pension, Lagos and many others too numerous to mention. I extend our appreciation to our Guest of Honour Mr. Olubusayo Adeniyi, MD/CEO Cedrus Group Africa.

 “I equally appreciate the efforts of the Planning Committee who puts this event together to make it happen. Bravo to our own Barrister Ifeoma Patience Adeniyi, FILCS, Steerer Hubs Solicitors and  Dr. Olutoyin Senbore, FILCS,  and all members of the Governing Council”, he said.

The ILCS President who said many candidates have applied to join the Institute said a physical induction was being planned to take place in Lagos at a later date for successful applicants who have gone through a thorough screening exercise.

He urged other leaders and aspiring leaders to join ILCS, adding that the Institute is poised to positively change the narrative about leadership in Nigeria in particular and the world in general.

ILCS categories of membership are Student Members, Graduate Members, Associate Members,  Full Members and Fellows.
