How Senator drove Adamawa REC to Force Headquarters

Fresh facts have emerged that the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Adamawa State ,Barr. Hudu Yunusa-Ari, was not arrested by the police.

He on the contrary gave himself up on Tuesday, May 2, following a letter of invitation from the Force Headquarters.

The Shield Online gathered that the REC was driven to the Force Headquarters, Abuja in a private vehicle by a Senator (name withheld).

The police had on April 27, invited Yunusa-Ari for interrogation on his role in the rescheduled Adamawa State Gubernatorial election.

The letter of invitation was signed by AIG Garba Baba Umar, Assistant Inspector General of Police ( INTERPOL) who is the Coordinator, Election Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Team.
