Hajj 2023: NAHCON reiterates commitment to educate all intending pilgrims

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has expressed readiness to ensure all pilgrims in Nigeria are properly acquainted with do and don’t of hajj excercise.

The Commissioner representing North- East in the Board of the NAHCON Alh. Abba Jatau stressed this while declaring open  a One day workshop on civic orientation for Officials of the State pilgrims Welfare Board and Ulamas which was organized by NAHCON, holding in Bauchi.

Abba Jatau emphasized that most of our intending pilgrims are rural base pilgrims that need assistance of Ulamas and other Hajj stakeholders.

He urged participants to step dawn the training to intending pilgrims to enable them have Hajj Mabrur.

In his welcome address, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris said Bauchi state had in the past trained over 150 trainee to ensure a hitch free hajj excercise.

He expressed optimism that this Worksop will  refresh their memories and enrich the participants with new knowledge and skills required in assisting and guiding the pilgrims to achieve an acceptable hajj.

Imam Abdurrahman therefore called on the participants listen and ask questions for clarification.

Participants at the workshop includes: Ulamas and officials of the  Bauchi, Taraba, Plateau, Gombe and Adamawa State pilgrims Welfare Board.
