An Alumnus of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) who is currently a PhD student in Mining Engineering at Virginia Tech , USA won the prestigious Syd S. and Felicia F. Peng Ground Control in Mining Scholarship following his impressive presentation at this year’s Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
According to him , at the conference he had the privilege of presenting my poster titled: “From fossil fuels to green mines: Understanding hydrogen-shale interactions for secure underground storage”.
“Special thanks to everyone that stopped by to listen to me, and gave their valuable feedbacks. I look forward to incorporating these feedbacks as I continue with my research work.” Ajibona stated in a writeup on his LinkedIn page.
For the impressive presentation , he was awarded with the prestigious Syd S. and Felicia F. Peng Ground Control in Mining Scholarship.
