Ekiti State State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has approved the appointment of 35 secretaries for the 16 Local Government Councils and 19 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the State.
Yinka Oyebode, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said in a statement on Monday that the appointment which is with immediate effect was in a bid to further strengthen local government administration in the state.
While congratulating the newly appointed secretaries, the Governor urged them to work hand-in-hand with other officials in their respective councils in ensuring remarkable development at the grassroots level.
