The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin( UNILORIN) , Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has been appointed Member of the Body of Benchers, the apex body responsible for the governance of the Legal Profession in the country.
A statement by the Director of Corporate Affairs, University of Ilorin, Mr Kunle Akogun, disclosed that “the appointment of the renowned legal luminary is contained in a letter sent to him by the Secretary to the Body of Benchers, Mr Daniel L. Tela.
The letter, dated March 31, 2026, indicated that the appointment, which takes immediate effect, is for a period of three years.
