The Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo has died after collapsing in his office in Yenagoa on Thursday.
He was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yenagoa for treatment.
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm, prompting an emergency response.
He was said to be in a serious condition when he was taken to the hospital’s emergency unit and was later pronounced dead.
