A Catholic Priest Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro has been killed in Kogi State by unknown assailant. The body of the Priest was discovered by the roadside in Ajaokuta with visible stab wounds on Wednesday January 29,2026.
Described by many parishioners as simple, approachable, and gentle , before his tragic death Father Oyetoro served at St. Paul’s Catholic Parish, Ayetoro Gbede, and the Catholic Diocese of Lokoja.
