The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have called of the nationwide strike they embarked upon on Monday.
TUC president, Festus Osifo said this on Tuesday in Abuja after a joint extraordinary national executive council meeting of the two unions.
Osifo added that a communique will be issued later.
The unions downed tools on Monday over the hike in electricity tariff and lack of consensus on a new minimum wage.
