Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Funminiyi Afuye is dead.
The Shield Online reports that the Speaker died this evening of cardiac arrest.
Yinka Oyebode, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, who confirmed the death said “Rt. Hon Afuye died Wednesday evening at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Ado- Ekiti, where he was receiving treatment after suffering a cardiac arrest.”
