For Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, a gubernatorial hopeful in Ogun State in the 2027 general election, acknowledgment of his sterling qualities are not in short supply.
One of such is by the Committee of Vice Chancellors(CVC) of Nigerian Federal Universities.
In a letter of appreciation dated 19th July, 2021 and addressed to Ambassador Isola, while he was the High Commissioner of Nigeria to the United Kingdom , the CVC noted his” passion and drive for the growth of Higher Education in Nigeria.”
The CVC also acknowledged how Ambassador Isola ” facilitated a relationship with our counterparts in the United Kingdom; Universities UK International and how positive we are of the potential of the relationship.”

LETTER OF APPRECIATION
I bring you warm greetings from the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities. I write to extend the appreciation of the entire membership of the Committee to His Excellency for hosting us during our mission in the United Kingdom at the Nigeria High Commission, London.

I reported your exquisite hosting of our members at the 35th AGM of the CVC held in Kano last week noting your passion and drive for the growth of Higher Education in Nigeria. I also reported on how you facilitated a relationship with our counterparts in the United Kingdom; Universities UK International and how positive we are of the potential of the relationship. The entire members of the CVCNU have asked that I thank you immensely for your kind support.
We are by this letter, also following up on the conversation we had with UUKI. I have attached herewith a copy of the letter sent to them and the Draft Memorandum of Understanding for His Excellency’s further action.
