The PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation on Friday donated 26 campaign vehicles to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, to strengthen his grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

The vehicles were presented at the Ake Palace Pavilion in Abeokuta during an event attended by All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders and supporters.
The organisation, primarily set up to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, is led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, chairman of Tantita Security Services Group.
Governor Dapo Abiodun was represented at the event by his deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele.
The governor’s presence through his deputy underscored the political weight of the gathering as APC leaders intensify efforts to consolidate support ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Adeola, the APC’s governorship candidate for Ogun State in 2027, is seeking to succeed Abiodun, whose tenure ends that year.
The 26 vehicles are expected to provide critical logistical support for campaign activities across the state’s three senatorial districts, including the movement of personnel, coordination of mobilisation and direct engagement with voters at the grassroots.
The donation signals the organisation’s dual commitment: mobilising support for Tinubu’s re-election bid and advancing Adeola’s aspiration to govern Ogun State. It also highlights the growing role of political support groups in building campaign structures and expanding outreach as the 2027 elections approach.
