2027: Yayi Consults Amb.Isola, Ogun SSG, CAN South-West Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State for the 2027 election, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has intensified consultations with key stakeholders in the state ahead of the election.

Adeola, who represents Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, on Thursday held separate consultations with former Secretary to the Ogun State Government and former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR ; the incumbent Secretary to the State Government, Pastor Tokunbo Talabi; and the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), South-West, Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya.

The engagements formed part of Adeola’s ongoing efforts to interact with political, religious and other influential stakeholders as preparations for the 2027 governorship election gather momentum.

The APC candidate first paid a courtesy visit to Bishop Akin-Akinsanya at the headquarters of Communion Faith Assembly, Garden of Faith.

The meeting featured discussions on issues concerning Ogun State and the wider South-West region.
Adeola was accompanied by Hon. Gboyega Nosiru Isiaka (GNI), Rt. Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, a former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, and other associates.

The senator later met with Ambassador Isola, a prominent political stakeholder in Ogun State, during which they held discussions on developments in the state and preparations for the 2027 election.
Adeola also held a separate meeting with Pastor Talabi, the incumbent Secretary to the Ogun State Government, as part of the continuing consultations.

The series of meetings reflects the APC candidate’s ongoing engagement with key stakeholders across political, religious and institutional circles ahead of the 2027 governorship contest.

Adeola has in recent weeks stepped up his stakeholder engagements, meeting with political leaders, religious figures, professional bodies and other groups as part of efforts to build broader consultations ahead of the election.
