The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday met with leader of Afenifere, Chief Reuben Fasoranti with a galaxy of Yoruba leaders in attendance.

The meeting which took place in Akure, Ondo State provided Tinubu an opportunity  to pay homage, present his plan of action for Nigeria if elected president in February next year and also seek the blessing of the Yoruba leader and his group.

The roll call of Yoruba leaders present at the meeting included Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu, Professor Isaac  Adewole,  Oba Olu Falae,  Otunba Gbenga Daniel, General Alani Akinrinade, General Olu Bajowa, Mr Sola Iji, Dr Kunle Olajide, Senator Cornelius Adebayo, Bashorun Seinde Arogbofa, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Chief Bisi Akande,  Chief Dare Babarinsa and Chief Pius Akinyelure.

Others were Chief Segun Adesegun, representing former Governor Segun Osoba, Senator Tony Adefuye, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, State leaders of Afenifere and many others.

Tinubu has held similar meetings in other parts of the country. On 17 September, he addressed a coalition of Arewa groups in Kaduna during which he highlighted the key elements of the plan, especially as they benefit  the people of Northern Nigeria.
