The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared incumbent Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the winner of the governorship election held in Anambra State on Saturday, 8 November, 2025.
Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) polled a total of 422,664 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ukachukwu polled 99, 445 votes to come a distant second in the election.
The Returning Officer for the governorship election, Professor Edoba Bright Omorege, who is also Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin declared Soludo the winner of the election.
