The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally presented its governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), CON, FCA, and his running mate, Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun, to the Remo Traditional Council.
The presentation was made during a visit by the candidate, his running mate and other APC leaders to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, and other royal fathers.
The delegation said the visit provided an opportunity to appreciate the Akarigbo and other monarchs for their steadfast support for the party since 2019.
It described Senator Adeola as a competent and experienced successor who will build upon the achievements recorded and sustain the progress made across Ogun State.
The APC leaders thanked the Akarigbo and the royal fathers for their warm reception and special prayers for Senator Adeola and his running mate.
They expressed confidence that Ogun State will continue to advance through purposeful leadership and continuity.
