Convener of Omoluabi for Yayi, Professor Abdulwahid Ajibola has congratulated Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun (KAAB) of her emergence as running mate to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for next year’s election.
Omoluabi for Yayi is a foremost support group for Senator Adeola’s gubernatorial ambition and Prof Ajibola was one of the people hitherto touted as a possible Deputy Governorship Candidate until the emergence of Mrs Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Prof Ajibola pledged his support for the Adeola/Adegunwa-Balogun ticket, calling on his teaming supporters to give them the necessary backing to ensure victory at the general election.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO MRS KUDIRAT ABIODUN ADEGUNWA-BALOGUN (KAAB) ON THE UNVEILING OF YAYI-KAAB OGUN APC GOVERNORSHIP TICKET
On behalf of my entire team, OMOLUABI for YAYI (OFY), I, Professor Abdulwahid Ajibola-OMOLUABI hereby heartily congratulate Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun (KAAB) on her emergence as the running mate to our Principal and Ogun State Governorship Hopeful, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola-YAYI.
By the same token, I appreciate the wisdom displayed by our party leader and incumbent Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Ogun State APC Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, and our Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Adeola-YAYI, as well as other party stalwarts and chieftains in zoning the Deputy Governorship ticket to Ogun East Senatorial district, particularly Ijebu Federal constituency to foster political balancing.
It is believed that this potent factor paved way for the choice of KAAB to fly the APC flag with YAYI to Oke-mosan seat of Government come 29th May 2027. And to most of our members and teeming supporters who were hitherto anticipating the presence of OMOLUABI (in person of Prof Abdulwahid Ajibola-OMOLUABI) on the ballot to run with YAYI as YAYI-OMOLUABI ticket, we should not be disillusioned, but rather take the outcome in good faith and support YAYI-KAAB ticket wholeheartedly as a Divinely endorsed choice.
KAAB is the OMOLUABI that God in His infinite mercy chose for us at this time as the next Deputy Governor of Ogun State come 29th May 2027.
We at OFY recognise the challenges faced by our party leaders at various levels of the party hierarchy since the commencement of party primaries for various elective posts.
Thus, we salute their courage, dexterity and wisdom displayed in accomplishing these assiduous tasks of choosing all our flag bearers freely, and without fear or favour. It is our fervent believe that these factors culminated in the undisputed emergence and official pronouncement of YAYI and KAAB as our party (APC) flag bearers for the 2027 general elections. With this official announcement, OFY under my leadership, wishes to reaffirm OFY’s commitment and loyalty to our party’s ideal, our principal and all party’s chieftains. We pray fervently for the success of our party at the forthcoming general elections, come year 2027, as well as the assumption of office by our principal and his running mate as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively, at Oke-mosan, next year, by God’s grace.
On this note, I profoundly appreciate the efforts of OFY team members for the role played so far. May God in His infinite mercy reward you abundantly and recompense you bountifully, Amin. Let it be known to us all that it is not over until it is over. Our eyes should vividly be on the ball, and that’s the enthronement of good governance in Ogun State vis-a-vis using our permanent voter’s cards (PVC) to vote massively for APC Gubernatorial flag bearers (YAYI-KAAB ticket).
Those who are yet to obtain their PVC should endeavour to do so now before the July 10 deadline at the INEC State or Local Government Area office. We should sustain our loyalty and dedication for the overall success of our party at the forthcoming elections next year. Team OFY is fully committed to the mission of mobilizing the entire citizenry of Ogun State as a Grassroot mobilizing machinery for YAYI-KAAB electoral success in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections and we use this opportunity to enjoin our members to remain committed to the work of seeing this lofty mission accomplished.
Let me reiterate once again for all and sundry that it is pertinent at this juncture in our political journey to remain steadfast, focussed and forthright in support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola-YAYI.
In the same vein, I also want to use this medium to reaffirm the total, unalloyed and complete loyalty of all OFY Team members to our principal, Senator Adeola as we forge ahead on this journey to Oke-mosan seat of Government come 29th May 2027.
