A group under the aegis of Intellectual Without Borders has commended Senator Joshua Dariye on his peace advocacy over the ongoing nationwide protest.
Dariye, a former Governor of Plateau State, also once represented Plateau Central in the Senate.
Fatai Ibrahim, Coordinator of Intellectuals Without Boarders said in a press statement on Thursday that
“Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye’s call for calm has given millions of Nigerian youth ray of hope, as his antecedents and dexterity in government business remains a shining example for the present generations of our youth and all those committed to nation building.”
Ibrahim added that “Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye’s call on the youth to be peaceful and promote unity of purpose is a welcome development which will further consolidate on the existing peace initiatives put in place by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to look into the germane issues raised by the protesters.”
